Fairfield and Norwalk, CT
Au Pair USA has a very active cluster of au pairs and host families in the communities around Fairfield, Danbury and Norwalk Connecticut, including many other areas of Fairfield County. Each month, Au Pair USA Local Coordinators work with host families, helping them with the matching process and answering their questions about the program. They also arrange monthly meetings and social events for au pairs to help them build friendships and adjust to life in the United States.

About Kayle:
My name is Kayle Petefish. I am available to answer your questions, give you advice, and help you to have a great experience here in the United States.
I joined InterExchange in 2000. I’ve enjoyed the Au Pair experience since my daughter was born in 1988 and hosted au pairs for 14 years. In many cases I have maintained the wonderful relationships developed with our au pairs. My daughter has enjoyed learning about so many different places and cultures from our au pairs. I work full time in advertising/marketing and have a degree in psychology.
Our cluster is located in the state of Connecticut. We are about 1 hour 15 minutes north of New York City. Because of the many surrounding towns, there are numerous activities going on at all times of the year. There’s skiing in winter, apple picking in the fall, hiking and biking in the spring and swimming in the summer. We are about 45 minutes from the ocean, but there are many lakes here too. Driving is important to get around, but there are many trains into the city too.
