Au Pair USA has very active clusters of au pairs and host families in San Francisco and the East Bay area. Each month, Au Pair USA Local Coordinators work with host families, helping them with the matching process and answering their questions about the program. They also arrange monthly meetings and social events for au pairs to help them build friendships and adjust to life in the United States.

About Tracie:

My name is Tracie Wold. I am available to answer your questions, give you advice, and help you to have a great experience here in the United States.

I was born and raised here in the East Bay area, and truly enjoy living here. My husband Nick and I have two boys; Matthew and Jacob. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, and camping. I also enjoy traveling and sight seeing locally and abroad. Traveling has become a passion for my husband and myself; we try to travel abroad at least once a year.

About Tracie's Cluster:

  • Our cluster area is in Northern California, the East Bay Area. The city of San Francisco is about 40 minutes away. Many activities are within a short distance, for your enjoyment in public and private situations.


  • We are in Northern California; about 6 hours drive from Los Angeles, or 1 hour flying. Lake Tahoe is 4 hours away where you can go skiing.
  • Monterey is about a 1-hour drive south, there you can see Pebble Beach, Monterey Aquarium and the wonderful shops. A short drive to Napa will take you to the wine country where you can go on tours of the wineries.
